I don't think I'll ever be a runner like you Nick, that's some impressive stuff. However, I was nosing around some old folders on my laptop on Friday, and I came across a fitness log I started that had some interesting stats: 2 years ago, before I started Crossfit I:
1) Had a resting heart rate of 84 2) Had a blood pressure of 132/86 3) Weighed 209 lbs 4) Had a 43" waist
Now, after 2 years of Crossfit, I:
1) Have a resting heart rate of 57 2) Have a blood pressure of 114/70 3) Weigh 176 lbs 4) Have a 34" waist
Colin, I can tell you that my Heart Rate has changed dramatically since starting CrossFit. I just wished I was able to make it to more sessions than I did.
I need to really hone my diet over the next year or so. I'd really like to get to 190 or so.

Crossfit + the Zone = the magic formula!
